Maximum stacking height

Stacking too high can lead to packaging collapse or instability during transport. The right height depends on product type, box strength and shipping conditions. Boxes have a limited compression strength and may deform over time.

What to consider:

  • Compression strength
Can the bottom layer support the total weight without deforming over time?
  • Pallet type and handling conditions
Pallets stored statically can handle more than those transported dynamically.
  • Height guidelines
Most transporters set height limits between 180 and 220 cm depending on the shipment method.
