‘We make your brand shine.’ This is the mission of Visix Brand Shiners, the merger company created in 2020 by the merger between Visix (Roeselare) and Krekels (Lokeren). Visix makes brands shine every day.And they do that by putting brands, shops, companies and events in the visual picture. They pour this passion into three specialist areas: indoor, outdoor and events.

Helping companies and products to succeed and shine with visually strong and innovative solutions, that’s our ultimate goal. We do this using tents, flags and flagpoles, banners and frames, but also special shop fittings and furniture. We create all these visual products for our customers so they can give their event or company that little something extra.

Visix has a head office in Roeselare, and will soon have a department in Sint-Niklaas, a sales point in France and a production unit in Poland. Before the merger, Visix had an online shop for professional customers only.  After the merger, this was expanded and renamed to create the shop they have today.

Existing clients, companies and private customers are all welcome in our online shop. Here they can use an easy configurator to put together and order promotional material with their own design, or a design created by our graphics team.

ZeroTape®

To get the material to customers safely, the company uses cardboard boxes with strong and environmentally friendly sealing tape. This tape needed to be applied to the boxes quickly and efficiently but also ergonomically. For this they asked for help from packaging specialist Inge Fiers at Topa.

We were looking for an efficient and ergonomic solution for our packers, with a sustainable touch. That’s why we chose the ergonomic ZeroTape® dispenser, in combination with the paper tape. After the test phase, we quickly received feedback from our packers that they noticed a big difference in terms of the ease of use.

In combination with the special ergonomic dispenser, ZeroTape® ensures a much better position and movement for the wrist in particular. This results in a reduction in strain on the wrist, arm and shoulder of no less than 75%, as well as a reduction in muscle activity of 25%.

This means not just packaging convenience but prevention of injuries and sick leave too. ZeroTape® is a high-quality tape with a special small core that is only 38 mm wide. This means a roll can contain up to 150 metres of tape, in comparison with the usual 66 metres. So the ergonomic ZeroTape® dispenser is loaded with more than twice as much tape. This not only more than halves the number of roll changes, but also reduces storage space and waste. The special small cores are also reusable and the production of ZeroTape® is 100% climate neutral. ZeroTape® helps you not only avoid injuries but also make your packaging process more sustainable. Highly recommended for all operations.
